EXECUTIVE STRESS CONTROL
Powerful techniques to relieve stress and anxiety
MANAGE STRESS AND TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has found that work related stress causes anxiety and depression, and is the biggest causes of physical and mental illness. The problem is becoming pandemic and can lead to debilitating conditions including heart disease, strokes, depression and even cancer.
Stress also has a negative impact on our daily lives and affects our moods, thought patterns and actions. Negative feelings result in negative actions which are damaging to relationships, your performance and productivity at work and your overall quality of life.
Our executive stress control service is a free-flow program designed to help you explore your emotions and adopt a broader perspective on life. We show you various proven stress control techniques for you to trial and explore which methods work best for you. We have also adapted some mainstream practices such as neurolinguistic programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and meditation into simple yet effective exercises anybody can master.
Most of the stress management advice we find on the internet merely suggest ways of avoiding stressful situations. But the advice is superficial and does not have any long-term benefits. Our mindfulness programs find the root of the problem and teach you how to dissolve emotional baggage and self-imposed limitations by using the power of the mind. The first stage is our
The lives of many executives are chaotic. The pressures of work and in your personal life can be stressful burdens. And the more responsibilities you have, the more you feel the pressure mounting. But life does not have to be that way.
The experiences you have in life are organised by your mind; the way you think, feel and behave all stem from the state of consciousness you are in at any given moment. And it is natural for the subconscious mind to take over. Sometimes this is a good thing as it helps us to remember what to do, but much of the time the habitual mind instructs us to make wrong decisions and actions because we have been programmed to think a specific way.
As a result, we run into problems and struggle to cope with conflict. A chaotic mind = a chaotic life. Learning how to control your mind enables you to take control of your life and fulfil the potential you are destined to achieve. The first step of the MasterMind process demonstrates multiple relaxation techniques and teaches you how to be mindful and manage stress by learning
HOW TO BREATHE.
Most people don’t breathe properly. It is a common trait to take shallow breaths that end at the top of the stomach instead of the tanden about two-fingers below the belly-button. When you breathe properly, more air gets into your lungs and purifies toxins which improves the quality of your blood cells. Proper breathing ultimately benefits your health.
Ayurvedic practitioners have known about the effectiveness of proper breathing for thousands of years and continue breathing practices such as asana and pranayama that were established by ancient civilisations thousands of years ago.
This knowledge has survived because it works. MasterMind Content will show you a series of effective breathing exercises that help relief stress and anxiety. We also teach you how to anchor concentration on the breath and explain the benefits of breathing deeply to help still the mind. You are also invited to join us for evening sessions of yoga and mindfulness meditation – although you don’t have to sit in the lotus position; mindful awareness is merely
Meditation is essentially another word for concentrating. When you focus your attention on one thing without being distracted by the mind or what is happening around you – this is meditation. By focusing on one point, you train the brain to concentrate for longer periods and invest time in whatever you are doing. When you do this, you find your performance and enjoyment is enhanced.
Although we recommend physical exercises such as yoga, ti-chi, qi-gong or a martial arts discipline that strengthens your powers of concentration, they are not compulsory to master our Executive Stress Control Program. However, we highly recommend you participate in any one of these exercises and encourage you to join a centre that is most convenient for you to attend. We will give you advice about what to look for.
What we do teach you is a variety of one-pointed focus techniques which still the mind, calm the breathing and return you to centre. The purpose of this is to sharpen your mind and learn to live in the moment. Once you are able to do this naturally, you will breeze through life and confront challenges with confidence and vigour.
Improving your conscious awareness and integrating our best practices into your daily habits will improve your productivity and quality of work, strengthen your relationships and enrich your overall value of life. Learning how to focus your mind and reprogram your habitual mind by using our executive stress control techniques might just be the best investment you will ever make.
